You are not the beginning of your story!
You get to decide how it continues.
Systemic Work: You’re not carrying too much—you’re carrying what’s not yours.
You are part of a system—whether you like it or not.
I’ll be honest—at first, I wasn’t sure either.
The idea of total strangers tapping into the energy of my family? Felt like a weird theatre rehearsal I didn’t sign up for.
But here’s the thing no one tells you: We are always entangled in systems.
And the one that shapes us most—quietly, deeply, and often unconsciously—is our family system.
You don’t have to believe in energy for it to shape your life. Because it already is.
Through old roles you didn’t sign up for.
Through silent loyalties passed down like heirlooms.
Through pain that didn’t start with you—but somehow still lives in your body.
And no matter how many mindset hacks or morning routines you stack on top, you can’t think your way out of a pattern that lives in your system.
That’s where Family Constellations come in.
This work reveals what’s been hidden. Not to judge or fix—but to witness. To finally see what you’ve been carrying, and who it really belongs to.
Because when you do…
you free yourself to stand in your place. The one that was always meant for you. The one where life begins to flow again.
You long for clarity, peace, and direction—but feel like something keeps getting in the way.
You’ve done the inner work, yet you keep looping back into the same situations.
That’s not coincidence. That’s entanglement.
When you’re not in your rightful place within your family system, life doesn’t flow.
You take on responsibilities that were never yours.
You carry pain that didn’t start with you.
You give too much. Or receive too little.
The harder you try to fix it from the surface, the deeper the pattern pulls you in. Systemic work invites you to return to your place.
Because from that place, energy can flow. Relationships shift.
And your life starts to unfold the way it was meant to.
Imagine waking up and feeling like you belong in your life.
No more emotional whiplash. No more shrinking to fit. No more guilt on replay.
Just clarity. Confidence. And a grounded sense of you-ness you haven’t felt in a long time.
This is what happens when your system is in order:
✔ Your relationships feel lighter—because you’re not carrying their stuff anymore.
✔ You say no without guilt and yes without second-guessing.
✔ You stop trying to rescue, prove, or earn your place.
✔ You feel at home in your body, your choices, your path.
✔ You stop repeating their stories—and start living your own.
This work is for you if:
✔ You feel stuck in repeating patterns you can’t explain.
✔ You carry emotional weight that doesn’t seem fully yours.
✔ You long for peace in your relationships—with parents, partners, or yourself.
✔ You’re ready to stop over-functioning, over-caring, or overcompensating.
✔ You’re curious, open-hearted, and ready for a deep energetic shift.
Here’s What You Can Expect:
✔ Clarity on the ‘why’ behind your stuckness
You’ll finally see the invisible patterns you’ve been repeating, and where they began.
✔ Release of emotional weight you were never meant to carry
That guilt, pressure, or sadness? It may not even be yours. And now, it doesn’t have to be.
✔ Healing (or softening) of strained family relationships
Without needing every family member at the table.
✔ A deeper sense of belonging—to your family, to yourself, to life
You’ll find your place in the system. And from that place, life starts to flow again.
✔ Unexpected insights—through your own constellation and others’
Especially in group work, what comes through often resonates far beyond your own story.
✔ A grounded, calm feeling that lingers long after the session
It’s not always loud. But it lands.
If you’re low-key terrified this is therapy with your dad in the room—don’t worry. It’s not. But it is for you.
W.T.F. is Systemic Work?
Systemic work is a powerful way of looking at your life through the lens of the systems you’re part of—starting with the most influential one: your family.
Even if your family’s not in your life anymore.
Even if things seem “fine.”
Even if you’ve already done years of therapy and self-work.
Because here’s the thing:
You can’t not be part of a system.
And when something is out of order in that system—someone forgotten, a role taken on, a burden passed down—it ripples through generations until someone sees it. Feels it. Honors it.
That’s what systemic work does.
It helps you see the hidden dynamics shaping your relationships, your choices, your fears, and the way you show up (or shut down) in life.
It’s not about blaming your parents or fixing the past.
It’s about finding your rightful place—the one that gives you strength, clarity, and the freedom to finally live your own damn life.
Once you stand there, life starts to flow.
Not because everything’s suddenly perfect…
but because you’re no longer carrying what was never yours to begin with.
I don’t tell you who to be.
I don’t hand out advice or fix your past.
My role is to hold space for truth to reveal itself—the kind of truth that lives beneath words, under the surface, in the body, in the field.
As a systemic coach, I guide you to see the invisible dynamics at play in your life.
The inherited patterns. The entanglements. The roles you took on to belong, survive, or keep the peace.
I support you in coming back to your place—not the one others assigned you,
but the one that’s truly yours.
From that place, everything changes. Your relationships soften. Your decisions become clearer. And you finally get to live your life… instead of reenacting someone else’s story.
My job isn’t to lead you out of the mess.
It’s to walk beside you as you look at it with loving eyes—and finally let go of what’s not yours to carry.
Hi, I’m Dia Jonas Dreessen—a Systemic Coach, NLP Master Practitioner, and transformation catalyst.
Nine years ago, I became a dad—totally unexpected, completely life-changing. That one moment cracked me wide open. Suddenly I wasn’t just someone’s son, I was someone’s father. And with that came the avalanche of questions:
Who the hell am I?
What’s the real story between me and my own father?
And how do I become the kind of father I want to be?
That journey cracked me open. Through love, healing, and layers of self-discovery, I found my way to systemic work. When I first encountered it during my NLP Master training, it wasn’t just interesting—it felt like remembering something I’d always known.
Everything wants to be seen. Energy moves where there’s least resistance. And when you begin to live your life—fully, honestly, unapologetically—you don’t reject your system. You honour it.
I am 50% my father, 50% my mother—100% me.
How Does a Family Constellation work?
A Family Constellation session brings what’s hidden in your system into the light—not through talking about your story, but by stepping into the deeper truth beneath it.
Whether in a 1-on-1 or a group setting, we start with a simple question or intention—something you want clarity on. A repeating pattern, a relationship that feels heavy, a choice you can’t seem to make.
And then… we let the system speak.
In group sessions, other participants (often complete strangers) represent members of your family or parts of your inner world.
In 1-on-1 sessions, we use floor markers, objects, or visualisation to map out your system.
You don’t need to know all the facts about your family. You don’t need to understand how it works.
Because here’s the thing:
Systemic work is often called the shamanism of the West.
We can’t always explain how it works—but we see that it works. Time and time again. What starts as a feeling or a stuck place begins to move. A shift happens in the body, in the energy, in the dynamic itself.
That’s why this method is now acknowledged as a powerful therapeutic practice.
It offers healing, insight, and reconnection—often where nothing else has worked.
You’re not just thinking about the past.
You’re letting it breathe, move, and find its rightful place.
It’s time to stop carrying what was never yours.
To release the weight of stories, roles, and pain that didn’t begin with you.
You’re not lost. You’re just entangled in something deeper—something your system is ready to show you.
A Family Constellation is your moment to tune in.
To finally see the invisible dynamics that have shaped your life.
And to return to your place—the one where clarity, strength, and peace become possible.
This is your invitation to step out of the pattern, and into your truth.

Aron
“I didn’t know what to expect, but I left with something I didn’t even know I needed. There was this one moment where Dia named something I’ve never dared to say out loud and somehow, it didn’t break me, it opened me. The way he holds space is gentle and real. I felt safe the whole time, even when it got intense. I honestly still don’t have the words for it all, but something in me is lighter now.”
Kim
“This work with Dia felt like being held while standing in a storm. I thought I was coming to figure something out about my family, but I ended up reconnecting with myself. He sees the stuff under the surface and says it in a way that doesn’t scare you off — it actually makes you want to go there. I left the session tired, moved, and grateful. It was real, raw, and somehow exactly what I needed”
Emily
“What really struck me was how Dia just knew where to go. He doesn’t force anything — he just listens and gently guides you toward what’s ready to be seen. Even the stuff that felt too big or too hidden. I didn’t feel exposed, I felt invited. And it’s still working in me, even now, weeks later. It shifted something I didn’t know could shift.”

Systemic work looks at the invisible dynamics within your family, relationships, or origin system. Through constellations, we uncover patterns that may be unconsciously influencing your life—think repeating struggles, blocks, or emotions that don’t feel fully yours. It’s a powerful method for insight, release, and healing.
-
Not at all. This work doesn’t require your family to be present, and you only share what feels relevant or safe. The field speaks beyond words—your presence and intention are enough to begin.
-
In 1-on-1 sessions,
In a session, we map out your issue using objects, representatives, or people (in group settings). Through placement and guided interaction, hidden dynamics emerge. You’ll witness what’s been held in the system, and together we create space for resolution, movement, and clarity.
-
Anything that feels “stuck” or repetitive—relationship patterns, family struggles, anxiety, self-worth, decision-making, grief, belonging, identity, career blocks… Systemic work meets you where you are and brings light to what’s underneath.
-
It’s normal to feel deeply moved, but the space is held with care. You’re never pushed. The work unfolds gently and at your pace, with integration and grounding built into the process.
-
It’s not talk therapy—it’s embodied, intuitive, and experiential. Many clients say it feels like something they didn’t know they needed, and it complements other healing modalities beautifully.
-
Nope. Whether this is your first step or part of a long journey, you’re welcome. Curiosity and openness are more than enough.
-
A 1:1 session usually lasts around 60–90 minutes. Some shifts land immediately; others take time. One session can bring clarity, but many choose to return for deeper layers.
-
At this moment, I only offer in-person sessions. You’re warmly welcome at my home practice in Amsterdam, or—if it feels more comfortable—I can come to you, as long as it’s within the Amsterdam ring. This work thrives in physical presence, where the field can unfold in a grounded and intimate way.
-
The insights tend to keep working in the days and weeks after. You may feel lighter, clearer, or more connected to yourself and your choices. I always recommend taking space to integrate—journaling, walking, or simply letting things settle.
-
In a 1-on-1 session, we work intimately and at your rhythm. Using floor anchors (simple papers or objects placed on the ground), we map out your inner system. You’ll physically step into different positions and feel the energy shift—often revealing insights you didn’t expect, but instantly recognize. It’s private, embodied, and deeply personal. Many people say it feels safe to go deeper and truly connect the dots.
In a group constellation, others represent parts of your system. Without knowing your story, they intuitively respond to the roles they’re standing in—often unlocking powerful perspectives. It’s beautiful to witness, but it can feel more exposing or intense for some.
Both formats are transformative, but if you’re new to this work or craving a more grounded, focused experience, a 1-on-1 session is a powerful place to start.

I’ve had the honour of co-hosting several beautiful group constellations with the incredibly talented Anne van Laarhoven, right in the heart of Amsterdam. As soon as we set a new date, it’ll be shared here—so keep an eye out, or feel free to reach out if you’d like to be the first to know.
